Help with vob files to dvd-r

I lent Whats Eating Gilbert Grape to my wifes friend and ripped it using smart ripper so i could watch it later.. every time I let people borrow my dvd's they dont come back...

and the files that it ripped were............




VTS_02.DV2
VTS_02.IDX
VTS_02.LST
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_1.VOB through 8.. etc vts...02_2.VOB, 02_3.VOB, and so on up to 8.

I couldnt use any DVD to DVD copy software.. its just to compliated to explain.. I Dupped 11 DVD no prob.. but with this one I have to rip it and then cut it and burn it.. the only prob.. is I dont know how.. because the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS dirs are not there and the movie plays fine with sound when I use WinDVD and load up the VOB files.. With just these files is there anyway to get it on a DVD-R.. and play in a standalone.. do i have to author it or demux audio from the vob and convert to mpeg and all that headache.. or with just these files is there a way to make a playable DVD. please help.. thank you I dont have the movie anymore just those files.

First things first, what you are doing is ILLEGAL!!! You can not rent movies then convert them to VideoCD or any other format, and don't give me that BS that your doing it for educational purposes. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Second thing, don't use topics like "HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP", you need to be explicit about what kind of help you need.

First off its my own damn dvd.. my wife let her friend borrow it and I like the movie.. dont set there and accuse me of illegal activity..

You dont even know me.. and I said nothing about renting the damn thing.. get off you high horse and realize that you dont know people by just reading there posts..

Just because you edited your post, don't call me a liar. No I am not on a high horse, but is is people like you who give the movie studios reasons to sue honest people who make programs available for us to use fairly.

I have copied 6 dvd movies all new titles.. no problem with dvd x copy..

but I rented whats eating gilbert grape, and when I run DVD x Copy it will split it into to disc(Of Course) and the first disc is 2.5gb and the second disc is 4.7gb(Uh OH).. I have recorded minority report, Triple x or xxx with vin desiel etc.... but why will dvd x copy not allow me to adjust the chapter splitting to even the GB on the DVDr's.. its like it locks at that.. and i cant change anything.. when on all of my other copies it allowed me to change the split.. is it because of the .ifo file.. (1993 movie).. kinda odd.. help me.

I HAVE OMMITTED THE FEATURES ALSO and removed the MENU in Dvd X copy.. and still it locks disc 2 at 4.7gb.. WAZZ Up?
