vcd for dummys

i have veritas software and a program called recordnowdx can i use this to make vcds and if so how?

I think you need to do a lot of reading my friend, you can use Recordnow DX to burn compliant VCD's which is the end process, go to the guides section on the left to learn how to convert DVD to vcd, personally I use smartipper, dvd2avi, tmpgenc and then record nowdx to burn.

chewy thanks for replying im trying to learn but you have to understand that all this is like reading another language what software do i need to convert dvds to vcds
