I have just recently bought a wintv go card for my pc for tv capture. Every time a try though i get the blue screen of death and have to restart my pc. This happens using either the software supplied or vdub. Here is the spec of my pc

    1.4 Athlon
    512Mb DDR Ram
    40Gb HD
    60Gb HD
    Win XP Pro

I usually try to capture to the 60Gb HD which is my secondary drive.

    Can anyone help?

    What chipset do you have?
Not only are there severe capturing problems with via chipsets but there are also compatability issues with the Hauppauge cards and Via chipsets.
I had a WinTv Go! a while back and had it a month before it went on ebay. Numerous e-mails from Hauppauge tech support never solved it, although I'm sure there must be many people using it quite happly.
If it was me I'd re-install windows.
The error is a 'VXD error' right?

  3. This reeks of a hardware conflict problem. The same one I had when I installed my wintv card. What interrupt is it using?

If it was me I'd re-install windows, and install each card (video, sound, modem, wintv) with a reboot in between (his would hopefully asign the correct any IRQ conflicts quite rightly pointed out above.
Ideally you're going to give us your system spec, it's hard to solve a problem on the brief information we have
