Hello,
I'm using TMPEGEnc Pro for converting a XVid Movie (Lord of the Rings:Two Towers) to SVCD on my Samsung DVD-S221.
I used these settings:
23.976 FPS NTSC FILM: According to VirtualDub this is right
2-Pass VBR: Avg Bitrate:2006 kpbs ,Max:2520
44100 Hz Sound: Converted to WAV using VirtualDub
Motion Search Precision: High Quality
Inverse Telecine ON
Also I used the plugin settings according to the site here:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/119019.php
I burnt it with Nero on Verbatim CD-RW(2x) and now it skips only in some scenes with SOME motion ex. Gollum jumping up and down. Most scenes are okay and look great! but some scenes skip like hell!
I have tried everything like using CBR for my rate control mode.
But i have always used Nero for burning which I burnt according to the VCDHelp guide.
I am lost here on what to do. My DVD player supports SVCD fine according to all reviews on this page. What is most puzzling is that some scenes are perfect with high motion, some arent.
The only thing which I can think of I am doing wrong is that according to my DVD player it says that it supports NTSC, there is no mention of NTSC FILM.
If anyone can give suggestions or ANY help it is much appreciated.
Hopefully I can sleep this week if you can help me please.
Thanks a million!
