    Hi guys,

Could anyone tell me what the largest SVCD mpeg that can be burnt on a 700mb CDR or CR-RW, assuming over burn is enabled?

    Please help, thanks in advance.

It's hard to say for certain, you can usually get an extra minute or 2. Try checking Simulate instead of Burn, if the simulation fails the burn would fail, if it succeeds then it should fit.

    Intenso? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
First step, get some other discs.. they dont work too good. Not necessarily more expensive, just "other".
(dodges writ from intenso lawyer) YMMV of course.

Hmmm, just make yourself a stupidly long audio CD (say, one big track out to 79 minutes, then fill the rest to 90m+ with 10-second tracks and no in-between gaps) and then burn, see what track it gets up to and you'll have a rough idea... take another 30 secs off for a reasonable lead-out if you want to be careful.

Don't do it at maximum speed either, don't fall into the trap of assuming it'll all work fine because it's new and supposedly certified for high speed. I've found many high speed discs, particularly cheap/high speed ones like intenso, to get a little unreliable above, say, 16x (even at 20 or 24...). If you want quality, put it on as low as you can (8x, these days?) and go make yourself a coffee while you wait!

Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!

  7. I have no problems with intenso discs.

I use their 48 speed cdr's which I can burn VCD's to at 52 speed no problem.

I also use their DVD-R's, no coasters so far.

I see you are a bottom lover. OOH-ERR
