Ulead has announced that the new DVD Moviefactory low end authoring program can accept VOBs as input, not just MPEG2s. This is a capability several users have asked for.
It would be very nice to have a handful of VOBs from somewhere (say trailers or whatever) and add them in with a nice menu made with a couple mouse clicks & burn. Something that until now takes ALOT of work.
The new trial is out http://www.ulead.com/dmf/trial.htm
... No I don't work for Ulead but I have MF1 that came with my WinTV PVR 250 and it's a easy program at a good price point...

Have you or someone else tried add downloaded vob trailers? Does it work??? Does it work with vobs with ac3 and dts audio also?
-
Trying it myself now. It does not support ac3 and you have to rename the vob to mpg.

Since the product is so new maybe if we contacted their tech support they would issue a patch before getting too lazy & working on DVD MF 3?
