  1. I have copied 6 dvd movies all new titles.. no problem with dvd x copy..

but I rented whats eating gilbert grape, and when I run DVD x Copy it will split it into to disc(Of Course) and the first disc is 2.5gb and the second disc is 4.7gb(Uh OH).. I have recorded minority report, Triple x or xxx with vin desiel etc.... but why will dvd x copy not allow me to adjust the chapter splitting to even the GB on the DVDr's.. its like it locks at that.. and i cant change anything.. when on all of my other copies it allowed me to change the split.. is it because of the .ifo file.. (1993 movie).. kinda odd.. help me.

I HAVE OMMITTED THE FEATURES ALSO and removed the MENU in Dvd X copy.. and still it locks disc 2 at 4.7gb.. WAZZ Up?

  2. It should let you move some of the Title sets from disc 2 to disc 1.

You know how each disc has those arrows? Just highlight enough mb's and click on the single arrow pointing left. Then select them again and click the single arrow pointing to the right to put them on the 1st disc.

I move my smaller Title sets around sometimes to even out the discs.

Sure some special features will require the second disc, but it is worth it to backup a movie.

  3. The problem is that you're using XDVDCopy. Use IFOEdit and DVD Decrypter (both freeware) and you won't have a problem.

  4. DVDXCOPY software is not the best solution in all cases!

This is just good to copy protected DVD-5s (not protected can be copied on-the-fly using Nero!)

To copy DVD-9s, you should use some other software. DVD2DVDR (www.DVD2DVD-R.de to download it; "Ihr Zugang" means "your account, just look around with some german dictionary + some authoring DVD program (SpruceUp for ex.)

    That's all I can say cause I'm a 4 days newbie also!
