  2. You can if it recognizes your burner... My suggestion... Take about 10 min. extra and use Maestro to create a disc image and then burn with DVD Decrypter. It has worked flawlessly for me.

  4. @zepppstterr. I have used Nero and RecordNow max to burn, but I use DVD Maestro to author. When you say it takes about ten extra minutes to create a disk image, should I just import all of my assets, put them on the movie line, save the project, then select create disk image? And then after it is done, I guess it will be an ISO, and I can burn through DVD Decryptor right? Is there ANY advantages of burning an ISO with DVD Decryptor, then to use a program like Nero or RecordNow Max? If so, would it be better when I can make backups of movies that will fit onto 1 DVD-R to use the ISO function in DVD Decryptor, or should I just make a backup ripping with SmartRipper and use a burning program like RecordNowMax?

  5. Well if you are using Maestro to author then you are already half way there. When done with the authoring process(intros, menus, etc.) Double check your work using the preview function. If everything works like your menu links etc. then hit the little bar code looking button on the top menu bar. This will compile your assets, creating .ifo's, .bup's, .vob's. Once you are done with that then click on the little disc next to the bar code button and this will create a nice image for you to burn with DVD Decrypter. I have found that since I've started creating images I never have any burning problems anymore. Although I do author all my backups to fit on one disc. Here's a great link I got right off this site for doing so.

    Hope this helps...

  7. @ Zeppsstterr, thanks for the info! So I do that disk image "after" I compile. I clicked on one of the options from the drop down box from one of the functions from the top of the screen in Maestro which said to make a disk image, I just selected it for the fun of it and I noticed it asks for a source. I guess I just select the entire folder which I compiled my output in, right? I will play around with it, but I think you gave me plenty of information. Thanks
