Why is DVD Playback too fast??

With every DVD disk I burn the audio plays fine, but the video is speeded up. What am I doing wrong?? I never had this problem burning SVCD's.

I'm hoping someone knows this because I'm getting the same exact problem .

I make my m2vs with tmpeg (2 pass vbr if that mean anything) and they play perfectly in winmedia player or powerdvd as an m2v, but when I give that file and a 48k pcm wav to ifoedit the video_ts it outputs does this speedy video playing on powerdvd or if i burn it to disc and play on a console player, or just dropping one of the vob files on media player.

I've never had problems with output of ifoedit when using it to work with stuff that's already vob files.
