    After reading various threads on this site I decided to buy the Alba DVD 114 as a replacement for my LG 3200 which won't play VCDs or DVD-RWs. I have tried a few Argos branches in Essex but they all seem to have the 108 in stock - everyone else on this site seems to be lucky and gets the 114!!

    Anybody know who else sells this player in the UK? or advise me if the 108 is as good? Thanks.

    Check out your local safeways store, my local one has these at 69 quid.

    Thanks for your fast reply. I called my nearest Safeway store and they had two left. I've got one reserved to collect tonight on the way home from work.
