  1. I'm having problems with XViD. I've tried loads of different ways of encoding the movie I have into mpg and then burning to VCD, but the result is very jerky to the point of almost being un-watchable on my DVD player. I've never had this kind of proble with other formats (DivX etc), so I figure is my be the fact that it is XviD. How can I convert Xvid to DivX for test perposes?

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers All

I have done it in virtualdub by opening the file and then selecting video>full processing mode>compression> select the divx codec and file>save as avi. That should do it
