Hello I gonna explain how to convert your
Divx/Xvid with audio format ac35.1 to DVD with dolby surround 5.1!
First you need this stuf you need:
1: Nandub or VirtualDub (I use Nandub)
2: AC3Machinev0.41
3: BeSweetv1.4 (for AC3Machine)
4: TMPGEnc Plus 2.5
5: DVDMaestro
How to save the audio-stream *.ac3
First open Nandub
Goto File » Open video file...(open your video file)
Check if your audio on the movie stereo 5 is.
Goto File » File information... » Look by Channels
It much be "5 (stereo)"
then put the audio on direct stream copy Audio » Direct stream copy
save the audio.ac3 File » Save wav... » Put Windows audio (*.wav)
on All files (*.*) » file name: audio.ac3 (or wat you want but make sure it is ".ac3"!
When finish it take a pro minutes close Nandub
Fix the ac3 stream
[size=2]Open AC3Machinev0.41
For the first time you much be set BeSweet.exe
Now you open the ac3 file you have create with Nandub
Then select the "Output (ac3)" i call it sound fixes.ac3 (make sure you have .ac3 on the end)
set the "Adiz Downmix Levels"
Select:
LFE To LR Channels Set it on -250db
LFE To LFE Output Set it on -250db
Center Downmix Level Set it on -250db
Surround Downmix Level Set it on -250db
set the "Overall Output Configuration"
Select:
Channels Mode Put it on "5.1"
Auto Find Maximum Gain
Use Dialog Normalization Reduction
Set Delay to "0" msecs
set the "General"
Select:
Gray Coloring For Uncommonly-used Switcher put it on "Normal"
set the "AC3 Encoding options"
Select:
Bitrate put it on "448"
now push on "Give me AC3!"
all settings:
if you do it allright you get this batch pop-up:
When finish you go automatic back to AC3Machinev0.41
Close AC3Machinev0.41
Now we go convert the avi to m2v dvd format
Open TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 close the wizard ("Cancel")
Open your movie bij "Video Source:" push on "Browse" open the movie.
We don't go Select a "Audio source:" it will be empty
Select the "Output file name:" push on "Browse" save the movie by your ac3 file.
Select "Stream type"
put it on:
"ES (Video only)"
Now push "Laud" open:
DVD (NTSC).mcf or DVD (PAL).mcf this is the dvd format you gonna create.
I'll take PAL.
Open the settings of it push on "Setting"
SetTab: Video)
Rate control mode: to "Constant bitrate (CBR)"
Bitrate: to "4000" (bigger or smaller test some,I take always around 3500 a 4000.)
Motion Search precision: to "Normal"
SetTab: Advanced)
Video arrange Method to "Full screen (Keep aspect ratio)
Now push ok!
Now you push START now the movie avi is converting to a m2v file it will take a couple of hours
let your pc allone don't set anny screensavers and automatic shutdown of harddisk and video...
Now we go greate a dvd with DVDMaestro
I don't have time jet for this but here is how to load it in dvdmaestro:

wen all finish i burn it with Nero!
I hope it works and have a lot dolby surround pleasure.... on your stand a lone dvd-player.
