I saw that before. Every guide either describe to create a permenant subtitle or the Selectable subtitles with I-Author. No guide is there to say how to create a Selectable Subtitle WITHOUT I-Author. Or atleast I could find one. Is there any way to do it?.

I guess got some hint. Let me confirm this. If I am wrong let me know. I saw it in some threads and found that
1. SubRip (to rip the subtitles from VOB's and save it as .ssa format)
2. MaestroSBT (To generate .ssa got from step 1 to SubMux's subs and the bitmap) and
3. WinSubMux (to merge the subs got from step 2 to the MPEG).
Will this work?. Also I found that CVD type subtitles work in my Standalone DVD player (Apex 1100W). Any idea?
Thanks -
Okay Now I think the merging went good with WinSubMux. It now did not give any "invalid integer error messages". Successfully created the MPEG with 2 subtitles (one in SVCD type and the other in CVD type). Now I have to burn this in NERO and find everything works good.

Do you know, what I shall do if I have subtitles in MicroDVD or SubRip format? I want to add the subtitles in these formats to a SVCD.
