    I thought that 800 megabytes of video such as mpeg 1 or 2 will fit on an svcd? Well the mpeg2 that I have is about 790 meg. I was using nero 5.5.10.0 and with two different brands of 80 min cdrs it said that this file was too large? Is there something that I am missing?

    790 MB should fit. Are you choosing SVCD in nero? What kind of error msg do you get? does the bar at the bottom cross over the 80 min mark?

    I am using svcd in nero. The bar is in megabytes still. It will not let me burn it just keeps telling me to insert a disc with the correct amount of space.

    Yes i did and I even set it to like 90 min. But I should not need that much space and my cd is only 700mb/80 min.
