Can someone please help me. I've been using CladDVD XP ver 1.3 as a ripper. I like because it is very easy and you can create a frameserving file to tmpgenc to reencode the vob files. I went to open clad today and get and error message that states "This program can NOT run as it has EXPRIED!!! download the latest version."
I did this and ran it, even though the version # and the date it was posted are the same as the current ver I'm running. No change I then, per the website installed MS visual basic 6.0, still no change. I then ran aspichk.exe to check my aspi layers it reads
    "ASPI Layers"
    apix.vxd ver 4.6
    wnasppi32.dll ver 4.6
aspi layer properly installed & fully operational

ver 4.6, according to the website, is the aspi ver I need for running cladDVD under win 98se. Does anyone have a clue to what, if anything, I've done wrong?
If I cannot fix Clad, is there another ripper program that is just as easy to use and will also create a .d2v file to frameserve the .vob files to Tmpgenc?
    Thanks for the help.

Another thing I did try is to download the so called "Latest version" onto another computer that I have that has never had this program on it. I got the same error message. Maybe for some reason this is no longer a valid program?
