For lack of a better place I am posting this here, I done some reading and know that the new ver of TMPEG supports SMP but 2.5 does not, at the moment most of the progies use 2.5, where I'm getting at is that I'm in the process to update to a Dual XEON 2.8 with Placer board all SCSI system, and would like to know if there are any plans of making the encoding and other programs related to backing up my DVD's take advantage of SMP.
