BEST dvd Player??????

I'm looking for a DVD that will be able to do everthing. Does anyone know of a DVD player that can play DVD-R/RW,DVD+R/RW,CD/RW,MP3,VCD,SVCD,.etc, Progressive Scan and great picture quality???? I was looking into buying a good brand name DVD player with a good picture out for movies then buying a cheap (APEX) just to play back everything else....

When i went to purchase my Apex.. i did realize that i picked up a newer model with the little white sticker over "Rock Compatible"

Yes I agree. This is a good all-rounder for the money and should be on everyone's shortlist. But, as usual, I would advise a thorough store try-out with your own home-brewed disks before buying.
