  1. Any of you guys know what to do when a DVD you are trying to rip is damaged!
    I have had a real shitty time recently trying to rip a few DVD's with minor scratches on them?
    Please help it is driving me NUTS!!!

  2. stop wasting your time and barrow the dvd form a friend or rent it. becuase if it has scratches, the lazer will not read it right and you will continue to get errors and other problems while you are ripping.

    That may be a couple of alternatives, but probably not the easiest. Hellmett, all you have to do is buy a good scratch repair kit or spray and use it on the minor scratched DVD. After using it, you should be able to rip with no problems. I never believed in the scratch repair kits prior to researching and asking people on this forum, and people said they have worked for them, so I bought one, and it has worked for me as well. It WON'T work for all DVD's. It depends on how bad the scratch is, But I've used it on at least 10 DVD'S which it has corrected.
