I have followed this software development for a while and I am within a microsecond of purchase.
IS this product the "Mutt's Nuts" or is it another "Over-hyped" and "over-expensive" piece of garbage.
Any first hand comments would be very welcome!

Please try to post in the appropriate forum in the future.
From accounts, this program works, but isn't without significant bugs. However, be mindful that you can do everything this program does (abeit with less automation -- be it a good thing or a bad thing) and more with completely free software.
My opinion of this "software developer", however, is that it is scum. I personally would never give money to it.

@ pacmania:
How can you support DVDCopyPlus???
My one click solution to copying DVD's to CD-R/RW - Click Here
Them continuing to sell DVDCopyPlus highlights the avaricious scum they are. It is no more than a scam to fool beginners. On their sales website, they don't even mention that DVDCopyPlus is actually a collection of those programs. Disgusting.
Be warned! 321 Studios is not "trying to protect your fair use rights" for any moral reasons. They are only trying to make money. If the movie industry in its suit against 321 Studios ever gave it an option of reprieve as long as it gave up it's customer list to them, I'm sure they would do it in a flash.

I agree fully with your arguement and in no way condone the use of other peoples software for financial gain.
Therefore I have decided to remove that line/link from my signature.

why do you not try dvd2dvd-r as listed in the forum. The only problem is that you need cce v2.5 or 2.66(not free) & ifo edit. It does work very well.

The one advertising DVD Copy Plus is gone however it remains on any old posts I believe because of the forum's technical aspects (i.e not updating to the current sig on old posts).

Also, I am convinced that 321 Studios is going to lose the court battle with the movie industry. What they are doing (with regards to DVDXCOPY in any case) is pretty much illegal to the letter of the DMCA (and every other similar legislation around the world). Their "fair use" arguments FAIL because they are selling/profiting from a digital copy protection circumvention device. It may and probably can be argued that YOU (the consumer) can legally use such software for fair use (e.g., backup purposes). It is, however, a pretty tall order to also argue that you can make money from providing such a service.

I agree Michael. Haven't posted for a long time but when I see a passionate and right on comment I must chime in. I agree.
