I have just really clicked with DVD Architect 4.5, and can do a great job for DVD creation. However I have recently rebuilt my computer for Hi Def video and want to author Blu-ray disks. I hear this can be done with Architect 5 but it appears that you can't buy it seperately, is that true? My edit software is Vegas Movie Studio 9. The offer of a free update would be good but it only comes with Vegas Pro 8, expensive! I am really happy with Vegas Movie Studio 9 and just want a good author program. Any advice, be gentle??

Buy Vegas Pro, or be patient. I suspect that DVD Architect Studio 5 will support Blu-ray when it is released.

DVD Architect does blu-ray authoring but will re-encode mkv and m2ts files even if they are compliant.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I will just have to wait for version 5 of DVD Architect Studio. I hope also that SONY wakes up to the fact they would move a massive amount of product if the Blu-ray blank media price was somewhere near to affordable. In the meantime I will keep my Hi Def home movies short and put them on DVD-DL.
Don't they realise there is a financial recession??
