Chuck and Sparky from Huntsville, AL have a problem with transferring digital video. The digital video camera uses FireWire, but the computer can't see the camera. How can he fix this?
Because this involves a digital video camera, you don't need a video capture card. If you use an analog video camera, you need to video capture card to convert the analog video to digital.
Two things to look for:
1. Make sure your software is "DV aware" and that it supports FireWire.
2. Make sure the driver software is compatible with FireWire.
