After many attempts at burning DVD video with NeroVison Express I find out today that I also have something called Nero Express with a DVD burning option but it says that I must author before I burn and it mentions something about NeroVision Express. (I also have Nero Burning Rom 5.5.9.17, I checked the website and theres a new update, 5.5.10... something or other)

Is that what I was supposed to be doing all along? Authoring in NeroVision Express and then Burning with Nero Express??? I'm so confused, why cant there be one software application that does it all?

Here's what I plan to do...
1. create avi movie in premiere 6.0
2. convert avi to MPEG in TMPEG (i should see if nero does this too)
3. author to DVD in NeroVision Express (my NVE help files dont work)
4. burn using Nero Express (i'll have to work that out somehow)

So here I go again, time to make some more expensive coasters. Wish me luck. I'm a frusterated newbie... so kill me if im way off.
