    I burnt a few test files onto a disc, they were encoded for NTSC, I play them on my Samsung S124 dvd player, and they play, but the sound stutters and there are flickering lines through the image like as if its got a V sync problem. Also my tv stays in PAL mode instead of switching over to NTSC since its a NTSC disc, please help!

    Try to switch to NTSC mode on your VCD player, because some doesn't auto detect the format.

    The only NTSC related options I can seem to find is to play NTSC discs as NTSC or PAL 60Hz, both options give same result
