Hi all,
I have a .VOB files, that plays fine with powerdvd, windvd, etc... but doesn't start in WMP11 / Vista (remains blank screen, doesn't move and doesn't show the PROPERTY voice in the menu that usually tells the filter being used) .

If I rename it to MPEG, it works even in WMP, showing the green OSD lines of FFDSHOW... and if I change something to the MPEG2 settings in FFDSHOW, I can see them in WMP.... so what's up with the VOB extension that bothers WMP ? or is it something related to ffshow ? even disabling MPEG2 in FFDSHOW doesn't solve the problem (I really think that the issue is in WMP even before the call to the directshow filters) ?

I could live without it, but I need to understand the reasons, to improve my knowledge of these arguments...thanks

Fab
