Basically im using nero express to convert my mpeg file into VCD when im dragging or adding the item it comes up with following message.

Internal Error in CVCDDOC::Proper media item

Why is this happening how can i avoid this i been trying all day i even had same problem with easyVCD it doesnt let em add or openmy mpeg file please osm eone shed sme light onto this plzzzzz

How was this mpeg file encoded? You may want to use TMPGEnc to encode your mpeg file before you let your authoring program get ahold of it.

Cheers Tommy the Mpeg file is downloaded form kazaa its a movie sorry for my ignorance what do u mean by encode and also ive tried using that mpgenc program but it plays the movie while converting it is that what it is supposed to do and im not sure how to use it. How long is it supposed to take to encode.

Yes, TMPGEnc is working like it is supposed to. It is showing you its status. There is a time indicator ("Remaining Time") that shows you how long you have to wait.
