  1. well ive made VCD's on CD-R's and when my DVD player scans them it says 'No Disc' so i tried it on a CD-RW, and the dvd player plays the VCD. but cause CD-RW are expensive i dont wanna buy loads of them and would prefer to use CD-R's. so can ne 1 help me?

    Try the Digital Media 74 or 80 min CD-Rs at Circuit City. I have the same problem with my Sony DVD. Found the answer here in the DVD player compatibility list. Also ran into some comments on the web that other players may have the same problem CC frequently puts them on sale with a rebate. Buy a small pack and give it a try. They can be really cheap.

  3. Your player wasn't designed to read CD-R discs. You could try to find a brand of media that is compatible but you will have to experiment with different brands.
