  1. I converted a .BIN image to MPEG so i could convert it to mpeg1, and to svcd, but when i open it in nero it takes sooo long to convert, and on top of that it says its too much data for my 800 mb /cd...i dont get it..the movie is only 57 minutes long but it says in nero its 80.

would converting the MPEG to SVCD with another program be better?? or will nero even recoginize that, or what..and is there a freeware burning program for VCD's or something, cuz Nero WILL NOT let me burn the cd even tho its under the alloted time amout.

    thanks for the help

Okay first thing, dont encode with nero- the results will suck
second when encoding to svcd you cant fit 80 minutes on a disc, if you make standard vcd then you can put 80 min on a disc.

Get tmpgenc for your encoding needs. and if your going to make a svcd either a) put it on 2 cd's or b) turn down the bitrate so you can fit 57 minutes on 1 disc. ( use a bitrate calculator from the tools section)

its not about time - when burning vcd or svcd file can not be more than 800MB (815 w/ overburning)
