I purchased a movie of ebay and it came on a CD. The file of the cd is .mpg. When I attempt to play it with Windows media player I get the error message; "can not play back file. Format not supported". I down loaded the codec to play SVCD(mpeg2) but no luck. I tried other players but no luck. Other mpeg files play fine.
The seller sent me another cd of the same movie but it won't play either.
Is there a way that the file could be verifed as to how it was encoded or a simple way to make it play... All feed back is appriciated...
