Problem with SVCD on Mustek

My dvd is a mustek v300k but i have a problem when a play svcd on it or minidvd the image has litle pauses i dont no why the svcd i use a 2520kbps.
Can someone help me?
I burn the svcd's in Cdrw i dont now if that is the problem.

I have the same problem if I burn the SVCD too fast ,if I burn at 4x no problems any faster playback stutters and skips every so often not all the time .So suggest burning at low speeds also I set read to 24x

I also burn at 4x because the cdrw that i have just support that speed but own do u set th read to 24x?
