SVCD burning never ends - even at 100% :-(

Hi all!
I have been trying to burn a few SVCD bin files, to no luck whatsoever.

I have first used Nero 5.5.8 to burn the bin directly - I get no size errors when it starts, but when burning, the progress bar hits 100 but the burning never ends - the lights on the drive keep flashing and flashing. It's not just closing the disc, as I have let it sit for an hour after it hit 100...

I then extracted the mpeg using VCDGear and tried to burn a new SVCD using Nero again - no luck...

I tried burning the SVCD using NTI 2000 - no luck - same results...

I tried building a new SVCD image using VCDEasy - using Daemon tools, I can see the SVCD structure is correct, and playback the SVCD using Media Player, but it won't burn correctly either.

I have upgraded Nero to 5.5.10 - same results...

I have even tried new brands of CDs - all 80 minute discs - no luck

I know that I can burn SVCDs - I had luck once extracting the mpeg and reburning that - but now, nothing

Does anybody have any suggestions for me?

I know you mentioned that you get no size errors but the same thing happened to me the other day because I treied to over burn just a few secinds more than I should in NERO. The Lead out could not be written and I had to restart my PC to open the drive. The funny thing was though that the SVCD played perfectly anyway! It must have been an error right at the very end of the write process. Probably doesn't help but there you go...
