First time trying to rip a DVD followed the newbie instructions and told me to DL CladDVD which i did, then i opened it and an error message saying "A Valid ASPI Layer has NOT been detected on this computer" how do i go about gettin one of these "ASPI Layers" because i really wanted to rip a dvd, got this powerhouse computer but it aint doing nething, if it helps ne im runnin XP on it, thanks for all ur input

maybe u need forceaspi (I think its on the tools section)
be sure to read the readme file included -
http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/SupportUtils/forceaspi17.rar
again, read the README file cuz its a set of scripts, not an installer
