i usually play my svcds on my standalone dvd player.
often im not content with the display format ( i have a 4:3 tv). most of the time the picture is too small. big black borders.
so, i could change some encoding parameters i think.
so im interested in 2 methods:
- some thought of zooming, what means i lose some information in the width, but therefor have bigger picture. so, its kind of resizing, i think.
- stretching the picture: sure i will change the pictures, but maybe thats a good price for a bigger picture on my tv.
would be nice if you could tell me about these 2 methods ( or some others). remember my source is a svcd and im willing to re-code it to svcd with different settings.
by the way: im also interested in some basic facts about svcd picture von tv. i dont understand how different tv formats comes out of the same source resolution 480*576.
