  1. Hi! I collect a ton of old cartoons and have them saved on VCD. I would love to be able to put hours and hours of these mpeg-1 cartoons on a DVD-R. What is the easiest way to do this? Is there a program I could purchase to author a DVD that has hours of VCD video on it? I am not so concerned with quailty. SInce they are cartoons, I am more concerened with the ability to store entire cartoon series on DVD-R. (since I've heard that DVD-r stores so much more)

If this is possible what would be the very best SOFTWARE and DVD recorder package I could purchase that would allow me to do this?
ANy help is very appreciated. Thanks!

  3. I checked the vcd to dvd-r guide out, and I was wondering if there is any software that will do this automatically (like a DVD authoring software). Thanks for your help. What would you recommend as a good dvd recorder drive with god bundeled software?

  5. Which program works the best and are they expensive? I haven't even purchased a DVD recorder yet, but would like to. Like I said before, he primary purpose of a DVD recorder drive for me will be to be able to put my huge collection of old cartoon videos (encoded in VCD standard) on a DVD-R. Kind of like making a massive VCD out of a DVD-r.
