  1. i have Nero 5.5.5.1 and was burning vcd and svcd perfectly without any errors in the log window. then i decided to update Nero to the newest version they have now, which is 5.5.9.17 and i didnt like it due to the fact that it checks for the length of the movie and not the size(MB), so i switched back to 5.5.5.1 and now im getting an error everytime i press burn in nero. the message says "invalid field in parameter". i have even went back to the newest version of nero and it also has come up with this same error message all of sudden as well. i have taken off my easy cd creator and its drivers to see if that was the case and still the same error shows up. any suggetions. or i might just have to reboot my pc to start fresh again. thanx in advance!!

Well a few weeks I had the same messages when I tried burning my MP3-files to audio !!! Nothing would help even on the Nero helpfiles...
A few days later my light goes on in my head, on a moment i've installed an older version of nero and it still has the the same problem...the at that moment i knowned that it was the ASPIdriver...
TIP: This problems happens sometimes when ye installed a new or other mp3 player.

  9. i dont think it would work cause when i upgraded to 5.5.9.17 from 5.5.5.1, i had the same problem(error messsage). so i just uninstalled 5.5.9.17 including the folder in the program directory thinking that the problem would disappear, but had no luck. i installed 5.5.5.1 back and it gives me the same error message. i recently started seeing this error message and i cant understand why it did this.

  10. thanx for advice, but it seems that my best option and only option is to reboot my whole system. this way, i can start fresh all over again with no drivers installed from other burning programs. thanx anyway!!
