  1. well...which program are you using to extract the audio from the vobs...?

    i've encountered a few movies where when you play the vobs directly w/ powerDVD, you see the video, but you don't hear audio...also, sometimes when I played the vobs, i hear french instead of english...

    so not to worry, smartripper is a very good ripping proggie...you just have to extract the audio w/ another program (i.e. dvd2avi)...best bet that if you don't hear any audio or non-english audio when you played the vobs directly...the english audio is prolly not in track 1...

  2. I ripped the dvd with smart ripper and when i tryed to rip the video and audio w/ dvd2avi i didnt get the .wav just the dv2 file.. after i ripped from the dvd i also tryed to play the vob files in windvd and still got no audio..

  3. yo...that cuz there's no audio in track 1

    goto audio->track->then choose another number...try 2..if not..then try 3...

    I would suggest using a program like DvdDecrypter
    http://www.flexion.org/dvddecrypter/
    just select - Mode: IFO Parsing

    It give you lots of info about each sound track so you can (hopefully) find the right one.
