side ways movies?

i've download some movie that appear sideway and i was wonder how would i flip it back by reencoding it with TMPGenc. thanks

sideways would be really interisting .. as its not something that really could happen by itself .. the scan lines would be 90degree's off .. upside down happens all the time though ..

as far as i know anyway ...

(yes) After effects, (maybe) vegas video , (yes) fusion, (yes) shake , (maybe) premiere , and some other apps should be able to convert it back .. the ones i know for sure all cost more than a 1000 and closer to 10grand in some cases ..

for sure try v-dub as the other poster suggested - though i dont remember a control for that ..

if you still have problems -- convert it to frames and rotate the frames , which is easier ...

how would we use v dub to flip it? sorry...... i'm not used to v dub, never used it before (if u guys can tell me the setting and the step for this it would be really great )

you have most likely download a movie that was made for handheld computers generally called pocket movies. in vdub got to video/filters/add then choose flip horizontaly or vertically and then save avi or frameserve to tmpgenc. if you need to rotate more specifically use video vegas.

when i load the movie into vitual dub i get this error
couldn't locate decompresser for format "DX50" (unknown)
i already have the divx codec so what kind of codex is this?
