Side ways video

Help Please. Can video that has been taken with the camera side ways on be straitened up? My daughter took some video of my grand children not holding the camera correctly, so you have to watch with your head on the side. Can it be straitened up? I have Pinnacle Studio Plus V9 and Studio Ultimate V12

Been answered on here many times.

If you just want to watch the video, if it plays in VLC player you can simply use the rotate filter

If, however, you want to play it elsewhere, you would have to find a program that can rotate it - vdub can do this for avi's or vdubmod should be able to handle mpeg2 video - and then re-encode the video. However, the process of re-encoding will mean that you lose a fair bit of the original quality.

Windows Movie Maker can do that.

I can with Sony Vegas Movie Studio. The video can be rotated and resized if need be to fit the screen.
