I was trying to back up Apocalypse Now Redux and I think due to the length of that film which creates an over 2.0 GB .wav from DVD2AVI it is causing some problems I have never experienced. TMPGenc says when it starts "Could not decode audio" or something like that and when I try and see if the audio works it is too large to play so I am not sure what is going on and thought someone may have experienced this when ripping something that is that long and large 3+ hours. thanks

happened to me on a lot of movies (i.e. titanic, green mile, and apocalypse now redux)
split the vob files into 2 groups and process them as if they were 2 separate movies....cut/join after you've encoded both groups separately, as needed -
Yeah that is what I figured I needed to do was to reduce the size of the files namely the audio part, and just us DVD2AVI to produce to separate projects and work on merging and cutting after the encoding. Thanks for the confirm.
