  1. I have a few xvid's I need converting to vcd, I have tried Using TMPGEnc but just can't seem to meke it work with all the Xvid's I have. I get dubbing problems (sound comes b4 the film, or starts off ok then gets out of sync) pointer problems and even dll errors. I tried using the 'Quick method' thats on here somewhere and the movie either stopped with errors or was just too jerky to put up with even when put in my standalone dvd player.
With the odd film, I don't even need to change any settings it runs and encodes no problem, so I know it can do it but how, where am I going wrong?

    :P 8) 8) :P

I have some of the same problems, I tried downloading different builds and frameserving. But I found out how to get rid of the dll errors in tmpg. In environmental settings and vfapi plugin I raised the priority on directshow multimedia file reader. I still get some jumping and pausing in my standalone but i think that is because of bitrate spikes and i'm trying to find out how to get rid of that.
