how can I play back my newly ripped .vob files from my DVD backup?...i want to make sure it got the movie properly before burning it onto a disc...any ideas?

You can use Power DVD (if you have it) or any other DVD playing Software. In PowerDVD, just click on the File Mode Button, then the Menu Button. You can then select the VOB file(s) you want to play. If you want to play them all, it is easier to use DVD2AVI or IFOEDIT to check the entire movie.

If it plays from there you know you are on the right track.
