AVI,divx,ect showing up black in TMPGEnc Plus 2.5

Im stuck between a rock and a hard place my encoder is not working right, when i get ready to encode an avi or divx ect. it comes up black. Im using tmpgenc plus 2.5. i was fine at first until now, I hit browse pick a file to encode and i get a black screen all of a sudden, and i cant encode any thing Help me somebody Please.

I thought I was the only one that had trouble with tmpgenc with a black
screen while trying to encode avi files. I am having the same problem.
I can watch avi files in windows media player as I download some codecs.
Ever since I got windows xp put on my machine I havent been able to
encode. The main problem I have is that windows xp shuts down tmpgenc.
Do you have this problem at all.
Im sorry I cant help you but thought you would like to know your not the only one with this problem.
