    I have a sony camcorder dcr hc30 and when I play it on the plasma tv it plays in black and white.
    Can someone tell me if there is a setting on the tv or camcorder to change this?

    When you view the tape on the camcorder is the picture in color?
    If so check the output settings and make sure all connectors are seated properly.

    How are you connecting to the TV? If S-Video check for bent connector pins or try another cable.
