    I recently purchased a bundled VPR Matrix from Best Buy. It has a Pioneer A104 DVD-RW. The tech guys tell me ONLY VOB Instant Write CD is compatible. (This was after they had me purchase 4 other software packages to burn DVD's and music. Anyone out there that can help me? NOTHING seems to work! Am I challenged? PLEASE HELP!

    Firstly, I think you are in the wrong forum. What is 'news' about your post. Just to warn you the mods will probably move this post to another forum.

    Secondly, the A04 is certainly supported by Nero for both DVD and CD writing. It is probably supported by other burning programs too.

    When authoring DVD you can also burn direct from MyDvd, DVDit Pe, Ulead DVD Workshop and Dazzle DVD complete to mention just a few. So the guys in the store were telling you a whole load of BS.
