  1. I have a project to seperate the L and R sound channels into two audio files. The two resulting audio files need to be in mono mode, hense, both L & R channels will have the same content:

    From:
    1 file with L & R

    To:
    2 files with:
    File1: L & L
    File2: R & R

I could do it tediusly in Premiere, but I just wondering if anyone know any tool (or combinations of tools) that can do the same thing.

  3. Found the site. Before I spend the $40, could you give me a quick run time on how (easy) to do it. Since I've already have a $699 product that can do the same thing, just not easily.

Does any free tools do similar thing?

I have had this program for months and still need to send the money in for it. But until I do, it lets me use 150 commands per session for free. Go ahead and download the demo. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Load both files into Gold Wave. Open a third file. Copy and MIX the first left channel to the new file, copy and mix the second left channel to the new file. Save. Close the saved file. Open a fourth file. Copy and mix the right channel from the first loaded file, copy and mix the right channel from the second file. Save.

    What do you think?

Now suppose I have a VCD with multilanguage audio tracks and only want to keep one by reBurning the movie to a blank CDR. How do I seprate the 2 audio tracks and just keep one on both L & R channels ?

  7. Yes, same idea.

    1) Demux the .DAT file from the VCD.
    2) Drag the audio file with 2 audio channels into Goldwave
    3) Select L (or R) channel only
    4) Select "Copy to" and save it as a WAV file
    5) Use TMPGenc to encode just the WAV file into mp2 file using the VCD template but doing just the audio file.
    6) Mux the original video file and the mp2 audio file back together.

    Done.

When I follow step 6) TMPG give an error message about buffer under run after finishing the Mux of the video clip and the mp2 file. I used "simple multiplex" with TMPG

    Error message :

    38781s Packets cause buffer underflow.
The MPEG file might cause error when it played.
