  1. I am having some major problems. I have an avi file that I am trying to cut into 2 parts, using VirtualDub. I have done this successfully before, but with this avi I am getting an error message about VBR when I open my avi in VirtualDub. I researched it a bit, and from what I understand, I should save the audio as a wav file, and then use TMPGEnc to put the video and audio together, which makes a mpg file. I have done this, and I even cut the mpg into 2 parts with TMPGEnc. But when I try to burn the mpg to VCD format using Nero, I get an error message from Nero saying my mpg file is invalid. It says the following problems were found:
    - Stream encoding which is invalid for a (Super) Video CD
    - Invalid video stream: 23.976 frames/second, 640x272 pixels

I have tried turning off the standard compliance and continuing to burn to VCD, but it does not turn out at all.

    So, here is my question:
Is there some step in the editing process that I am missing, or possibly doing wrong? Is there any other program that will NOT give me a VBR error that I can use to cut my avi into 2 parts? I am going crazy trying to figure this out!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks....

PS-Please post response here, don't email, because I won't receive it.

Are you using the template, or the Wizaqrd? If you wish to make an SVCD file, the TMPGEnc templates makes the video SVCD compliant.
    Hello.
