    Can you put more than 1 svcd mpg or vcd mpg on 1 cd and play them all
    on a dvd?

    Sure, it should play fine, and you can go to each clip by just moving forward like you would do switching chapters.

    Play SVCD with WinDVD or PowerDVD, and VCD with Media Player. In Media Player, open file>all files in the Mpegav folder of your vcd find
    avseq01.dat. (this is your movie).
