Im sure for all of you who backup dvd's on cdr's have gone through this or still go through this:

I'm into making backups with dvdx encoded to mpeg format or vcd format, but in doing this, most to all movies are around 1000 megs so 2 cdrs are required to save the movie/backup the movie onto.

My problem is, its such a hassle to have to eject a cd and place in the 2nd one to finish watching the movie, isnt there a way or should there be a way to have 1 cd in the dvd rom drive and 1 cd in the cd burner drive and be able to use for example windows media player and load both files to play accordingly??

Im only bringing this suggestion up because once dvdx is done encoding i have one file thats 700 megs and the second part that is 300 or so megs, and i can highlight both files and they will play accordingly (one after the other) why cant i do this with placing the cdr's in both drives??

any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

and thanks for your time
