  1. Hi... Yes I know this might be one of the 100s of posts for this topic, but i might as well try. Im converting signs xvid into mpeg2 and of course because it is xvid i have the green screen. I cant get rid of it. I tried 0kewls guide on how do it... (i installed all the codecs and configured the environmental settings as it says to his guide and it still doesn't work http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/119019.php )

i am missing one of the plug ins and thinking that might be the problem (cyberlink mpeg2 decoder) but there are posts that say it works fine w/o it. So i encoded it into mpeg2 and when put in my dvd player it still plays w/ the green film around it. Is there ne1 that can help besides telling me to put FFDShow in 1st priority and d/ling the codecs (because i already did that)... but if there is help in how to do this ( i might try frameserve next) plz let me know

  3. i just went through the same crap, and i read on fasttrack forum, first install the xvid plugin from nimos codec then just uninstall it and it works. so i tried that and it worked. but if you are stripping the audio first with virtual dub then do that first before uninstalling it cause it wouldnt do it for me without it.
