Is it possible to burn xvcd's at a higher bitrate than the 1150kb/sec std? I've done this but the audio skips in my DVD player.
I have bunches of home video encoded at higher bitrate Mpeg1 (~2400kbit/sec). I'd like to play it on my DVD player without re-encoding at the lower quality VCD bitrates. Any other suggestions?
    Thanks

The problem wont be with the burn, it will be with compatability.

Each player has its limits as to how high it will go.
