  1. Have a avi that is in 23,976fps and use virtualdub to convert it to 25fps and i want to add subs to it that is in 23,976 .... Must i convert the subs also, before i frameserve it to TMPGEnc ? Or can i use the subs without getting out of sync ?? Is it only the size that are different in the subs in pal to ntscfilm ??

  2. I'll ask again then....

If you download a sub file that is in 23,976fps, can you use it in a 25fps .avi file when you frameserve to tmpgenc ??

Convert the sub to pal(25 fps) first and then use it in virtualdub.

  4. Thanks I suspected that was the way..
    One more thing Baldrick....
I have a lot of 23,976 movies and want them in 25...and i also want the audio to be 2ch surrond2 .Want your opinion about my procedure..
Load cd1 in virtualdub and append the cd2, change the videoframeratecontrol to 25fps.Save it all as an avi (video audio = direct stream copy).Open the avi choose save wav in directstream. Rename the wav to ac3, fix it with ac3fix...then convert it to mp2 in Headac3 as an downmix type 2ch surrond2 (the original audio is in 5channels).Load the cd1cd2.avi again in virtualdub ,choose no audio add my subs (in25fps) and then framerate to TMPGEnc....finally De-multiplex the mpeg2 and then multiplex the mv2 with the 2chsurrond2 audio file in bbMpeg...
